*  Faith Fellowship's Andy Rowley hit 4 three-pointers in the 4th quarter against MVCA on Thursday, Jan 12th.  Andy finished the game with 5 three pointers to repeat his performance from earlier in the week when he also had 5 three pointers against NLCS.

  * Jessica Moorehouse had the most dominant girls performance of the year scoring 21 points and 23 rebounds in a 1 point loss to NYSSD on Feb 2nd.  Two days later Jessica scored 27 points and had 18 rebounds vs. NLCS.

*  Andrew Wynne, NYSSD, scored 30 points in a game against River Valley on Dec 8, the highest point per game in December.  Wynne scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds against HCA on January 26th to lead his team in scoring for the 7th time this season.

*  The Mohawk Valley Eagles shot 62% from the field in their game against FFCS on Jan 12.

Elizabeth Olivo (NYSSD) scored a Girls season high 24points in a game Jan 12th against New Life Christian School.

   *  Jared Houseman set an NCAC season record and tied a NLCS school record by scoring 38 points in a Jan 21 game against River Valley.  Houseman shot 71 % from the field, 80% from the line and also grabbed 13 rebounds.  He had 18 points, 17 rebounds 2 days earlier vs. MVCA.

 *  The NLCS Warriors scored a season high 83 points in one game against visiting FFCS.  The two teams combined for a total of 137 points in their Jan 7 contest.  Jared Houseman and Travis Lyon combined for 48 points

*  A.J. Brown grabbed 6 offensive and 15 defensive rebounds for a total of 21 rebounds in a Feb 9th game vs. Holy Cross Academy.

MVCA's Girls team is 0-2 in coin tosses.  On Wednesday, Feb 8 the Lady Eagles lost a second straight coin toss.  Going with the 87.5% probability that tails would not come up three times in a row, Coach Haas called heads, only to have the coin come up tails.

* Jessica Moorehouse and Tabitha Prine combined for 31 rebounds vs. Mohawk Valley's Eagles on Jan 12

   * NYSSD shot 67% from the free throw line going 10-15 in their game against HCA on Jan 19

    * Flames' Teammates Andy Rowley (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Josiah Baker (14 points, 10 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles in their game against NYSSD on Feb 2

   * The MVCA Eagles have held their opponents to an NCAC low 42.7 points per game in 10 regular season games for the best defense in the league.  Only NYSSD scored more than 50 points in the final regular season game on Feb 9.

   * Andy Rowley just missed setting a school record set by his brother by getting a career high 38 points on Mar 2 vs. HCA.  He added 10 rebounds and 2 assists in that game.

    * The NYSSD Trojans came on strong at the end of the season winning 8 of its last 9 games, including a championship in the ESDAA Basketball Tournament

     * The NCAC Champion Mohawk Valley Eagles need to look no further than the foul line as their reason for success in the championship game.  The Eagles shot 13 for 17 from the foul line and made 11 of 12 in the final period.  Chris Chaput and David Haas were each 4-4 while Kenny Allen was 3-4 in the 4th quarter.
