The North Country Athletic Conference was formed in 2002 when five private schools in upstate New York decided to formalize a league for organized competition in soccer and basketball. The inaugural season was played in 2003 and we are now entering our fifth full season of competition. In 2004 a sixth school joined the conference, and in 2007 a seventh team was added. The NCAC formalizes schedules, keeps league standings, sponsors an end of season tournament, and recognizes the achievement of All-stars and scholar athletes.
