ROME — New Life Christian School dropped its first game of the 2007-2008 season against the New York State School for the Deaf, ending an 18-game winning streak against that team. Irick Carter scored 21 points and Ty Miller added 21 as the New York State School; Matt Lazarus pulled down eight rebounds for the NYSSD and Jeremy Lloyd had four steals.  Paul Brown and Philip Dickerson led NLCS with 23 points each.  Brown added 15 rebounds, while Dickerson recorded 10 steals
